The Mom Agency was started by moms, for moms. The company was formed by 4 co-founders, all moms in the Dallas area who recognized there could be a better way to find childcare. We came together with a vision and drive to find it.
Our CEO, the creator of the MomCheck concept, moved to Dallas pregnant and had no support network to turn to for solid, trusted advice on the area’s childcare facilities. She used everything available to her at the time to research childcare, from phone calls to newspaper ads to internet surfing and to talking to other parents. She quickly learned there was no central location she could go to get information on all the facilities, and knew there had to be a better way.
After locating childcare, she turned to a local message board to ask other moms if they’d be willing to help her make finding childcare easier for every other parent. Those of us that responded to her call soon learned we all had similar stories of the challenges we faced when searching for care for our children. As soon as we heard the idea for
MomCheck, we jumped on board and formed The Mom Agency, LLC.
Working with industry veterans with over 20 years of extensive childcare experience, we created the MomCheck Report – an in-depth, detailed report with questions, checklists, data on the childcare facility and a first hand narrative that provides parents with the critical facts they need to make an informed childcare decision. Each facility is individually evaluated by our trained MomCheck Agents and detailed using the extensive criteria in the MomCheck report. We are steadily growing our database of MomCheck reports to ensure all reports are accurate and in-depth.
